A - FOR AGROSCOPE

As part of the Planet A project, el Patrol has developed artistic and functional concepts for the transformation of urban spaces towards ecological food production. Now we have been commissioned to create initial design studies for the renovation of an old Agroscope office building. The building is to be given a facelift with a photobioreactor designed by el Patrol for the production of microalgae. Agroscope serves as the Swiss federal competence center for agricultural research, and at the Posieux site, a new laboratory is being established to accommodate well-equipped experimental farms and field test facilities. As part of this development, an old office building on the same site is undergoing renovation and is poised to become the first use case for Planet A's architectural concepts.
